Kohlrabi Fries
Whether you eat kohlrabi cooked or raw, with some hummus or some kind of sauce, or as a salad ingredient, kohlrabi is always delicious and adds this nice, sweet-but-peppery flavor!
What I didn't know though: You can make some super tasty fries with kohlrabi! And they are also a perfect low-carb snack!
Ingredients
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 395 degrees and prepare a baking tray lined with parchment paper. And cut kohlrabi into thick sticks like home fries.
- Put oil, sweet pepper powder and pepper in a big bowl or freezer bag and mix thoroughly. Add the kohlrabi sticks and mix well. - Don't add salt at this point!
- Spread the oiled and seasoned kohlrabi in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, flipping once, until they are soft and getting blistered and dark on the outside.
Tip: Same as the Sweet Potato Fries, these Kohlrabi Fries taste super delicious if you sprinkle them with some rosemary before adding them to the oven.
